The Farm

The Farm is a gamified version of LP Farming. Seeds will be obtained at the Seed Store in the Marketplace, and players can then use two tokens to create an LP token (and plant them on The Farm). Players will be able to harvest their yield according to the current incentivization, as well as the locking % of the current epoch.

LP Farming & Locking Model

The goal of Warchain is to bridge DEFI and AAA Gameplay in a creative way that benefits all of its users. One of the most prominent ways decentralized finance has profited its users is through Yield Farming. Yield Farming is when a player stakes an LP token in a specified pool that offers its users rewards for providing the LP token - in other words, providing liquidity.

Providing liquidity works hand in hand with a Decentralized Exchange. Without a substantial amount of liquidity, a decentralized exchange cannot function properly. Buying and selling on such an exchange will cause too much price impact and will deter the user from using the exchange over others when buying and selling their tokens.

Warchain's model for Liquidity Provision highly incentives users to provide liquidity for its Farms, thus motivating investors to bring tokens they have been holding, such as Ethereum, Matic, or other large-cap tokens, and deposit them in its pools for very large rewards.

Due to the large size of rewards, certain precautions have been made, such as implementing a locking mechanism. As you will see in the table below, outlining the epochs (roughly 1 week per epoch) and $WAR per Block, there is another column detailed "Unlocked %." This is the percentage of tokens that are instantly available for claiming, while the rest remain locked.

There is a catch to this pool. If you decide to wait until week 3 to claim your tokens, then you will unlock all your tokens at 10%, leaving 90% solidified locked until the future vesting period (see below).

EXAMPLE

Player A holds 0.1% of the entire pool.

As you can see, if Player A waits until the end of Epoch 4 to claim tokens, the player will receive significantly more tokens than claiming each epoch.

Note: This model does not take into account claiming each epoch and re-investing locked tokens into the Liquidity Pools.

Withdrawal Fees

Withdrawal fees will be implemented based on the length of liquidity providing. However, the details of such are still being drawn out. However, it is safe to say that there will be token mechanisms such as buy backs, burns, or $WAR deposits into the bank included from these fees.

Future Vesting

Vesting of locked tokens is set to begin 18 months after Warchain's TGE.

At 18 months, an unlock button will become available. Once player clicks unlock, all of their current locked rewards will begin block by block vesting over the next 18 months.

Part of Warchain's design is an early unlocking model.

Early Unlocking Model

The early unlocking model is a way for investors & players to unlock their locked tokens prior to the vesting schedule above.

In order to participate in the early unlocking model, the player must either mint one of Warchain's specialized NFTs or purchase one from our NFT marketplace. This does not include the free NFT required to play Warchain. Check out our section called "NFT Structure" to learn more.

Once Warchain's game is live on the blockchain, anyone who owns locked tokens will be able to play Warchain to unlock their locked tokens. This is part of Warchain's incentivization model.

One of the main goals of the unlock/lock LP farming is to create a highly incentivized play-to-earn model, while also adding considerable utility to the $WAR token.

Within the game, the locked tokens will be unlockable through quests, dungeons, raids, and more. The incentivization model increases as quests get more difficult and the player begins to take on dungeons and, ultimately, the raids.

The incentivization rate will also be a function of the total number of locked $WAR tokens, which means the more locked tokens a player owns, the more tokens released during gameplay, resulting in higher early rewards.

Game Pool (100% Reward Match Bonus)

For every token reward claimed (locked & unlocked), there will be an equal number of tokens distributed to that user's Game Pool, which will only be able to be unlocked by playing Warchain.

There will also be an option to contract gamers to play on your behalf to receive a portion, negotiated between both parties, of the full rewards unlocked by playing in game.

Within the game, the game pool tokens will be unlockable through quests, dungeons, raids, and potentially PvP. The incentivization model increases as quests get more difficult and the player begins to take on the most difficult co-op missions.

EXAMPLE

Player A has 100,000 tokens in his game pool. Player B is a gamer looking to play on someone's behalf to make extra tokens from in-game play.

Player A and B agree on a 50/50 model. For every token earned in-game, 0.5 tokens will go to Player A and 0.5 tokens will go to Player B.

MOTIVATION

The motivation behind this model has multiple reasons

  1. Sustainability with High incentivization. Although there will be general play to earn rewards to be earned in-game, a majority of them will come from this pool, which is capped via a tokenomics model set above. This allows a highly incentivized model for the best gamers who pair with the players with the largest game pool. This model prevents any risk of a high incentivization model from running the ecosystem tokens dry due to the cap set by the pool

  2. Unites Traditional Gamers with Blockchain Users. One of the main goals of Warchain is to bring together the world of traditional gaming and blockchain users. One of the main ways we are attacking this current gap is the game pool. Essentially both parties will do what they know best to the benefit of each other.

A more detailed model for the game pool, including a mathematical breakdown, will be developed in the future and updated within the whitepaper.
